Dear students,

Just a quick update on the forecast. To kitesurf, we need at least 12 knots of wind to be able to provide water lessons (step 2-5). For beach lessons, we require a minimum of 10 knots. Yesterday, the forecast looked promising (refer to image 1). We had a window of approximately 7 hours for teaching, but this morning’s update removed almost all wind (see image 2).

There might still be some wind in the evening, but it’s uncertain at this point. The next update is scheduled for 15:30. However, it’s possible that this update will indicate no wind for today.

If you’re interested in tracking the wind, please visit http://windguru.cz and refer to the WRF 9km model. It is known to be the most accurate one.
